If you live in the United States, it’s likely that you have at least one t shirt – but it’s even more likely that you own considerably more. After all, the majority of men and women alike own at least ten t shirts that have been gathered from various events or even purchased in their own right. T shirts are particularly popular types of clothing, and incredibly comfortable and versatile.
After all, t shirts can be easily created through the use of manual heat presses or other types of heat presses aside from these manual heat presses, such as sublimation heat presses or even the sublimation transfer press. The types of heat press that you use will vary, but manual heat presses tend to be quite the popular option. But no matter how a t shirt is made, through the use of manual heat presses or otherwise, there is certainly no doubt about it that t shirts can easily be made in bulk and for relatively little money (though making them in bulk with manual heat presses might prove more difficult than when using other types of heat press machines that are available today).
And t shirts can be used for all types of things. For instance, t shirts are commonly found at any big event, from a sporting event to a major music event to even a charity event, with the t shirts used to identify participants in the event as well as to raise awareness to the cause that the charity supports. And t shirts can be used for even more basic purposes, such as for the easy identification of young children traveling with a school group for a field trip, or as a basic uniform for sports teams among these same younger kids.
But no matter what a t shirt or even manual heat presses are used for, they make up part of the clothing industry as a whole not just here in the United States but all around the world, a clothing industry that is thriving in today’s day and age. After all, people buy more clothing than ever before, with the average family here in the United States spending more than $1500 on clothing over the course of just one year. And in addition to this, women’s apparel alone has become the number one generator for various e-commerce sites throughout the world, as it is the top selling item for online platforms at least as of the August of 2017.
After all, people buy more clothing than ever before. Where a hundred years ago the average woman living in the United States would only have a total of nine outfits, if even that, the average woman of today has as many as 30, meaning that she has one for every single day of your typical month. And the average person consumes up to 70 garments per year.
But even aside from online sales, the market for apparel is thriving here in the United States. In fact, it even has a total worth that exceeds $315 billion, the total worth of the year of 2016. And this worth is likely to continue to grow in the years that are to come, exceeding a worth of $385 billion by the time that we reach the year of 2025, which is now considerably less than a mere ten years into the future.
But when we look at the growth of the clothing and the apparel industry in the United States, we must also, of course, look at its growth on a much larger scale, in the world as a whole. And when we look at the world as a whole, we actually find that the global clothing and textile industry is one that is thriving, especially when we look at the market for clothing and for other various types of textiles together. At the current date, it has an estimated total worth that actually exceeds $2.5 trillion, a truly immense amount by just about any standards, here in the United States or far beyond it too.
